I read ‘My Almost Loves’ and I found moments, where I couldn’t turn the page because the emotions I experienced were so overwhelming and familiar. Sometimes, I could only read one poem or prose at a time. This book is journey with so many experiences that I am sure we all have had in our dating lives. Its refreshing to know that I am not the only one but at the same time, its still heartbreaking to see that so many women, really just want someone they can share their lives with. And yet, that process of finding that person can be soo exhausting. I commend the author for her courage and blatant transparency, allowing me to experience her journey. I cannot wait for ‘Yet I Rise’

I read this book and I really struggled to get through it, because each piece resonated with me, in some shape and form. It was so relatable and I think that realization hit me, that we never know what other people are going through, or that they are going through something as similiar to you. I loved it! It was raw, transparent and real. I could feel her pain and all the other emotions. It truly was a emotional rollercoaster.
